After reading "Man's Search For Meaning" by Viktor Frankl, there were some key sentences and phrases that really stood out to me, from the book and also from reading up on the author himself. These words contained what seemed like a concentrated distillation of wisdom that can lend itself to greater contemplation and hopefully healing.
Without Further ado, here are my favourite quotes:
1 - “When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.”
2 - “Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.”
3 - “But there was no need to be ashamed of tears, for tears bore witness that a man had the greatest of courage, the courage to suffer.”
4 - “What is to give light must endure burning.”
5 - “Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.”
These were my personal favourites but here are some bonus ones
